Below is a description of what you can expect from each set of photos. These are suggestions only, and the time frames depend entirely on what you want on your wedding day. I am more than happy to discuss with you any other ideas you may have.

Bride & Bridesmaids Getting Ready (Deluxe & Gold Package only)
Allow approx 2 hours.
I will meet up with the bride and her bridesmaids to capture the beginning of the big day! Whether it be at the hairdressing salon, the bride’s house or a hotel, these photos show the girls getting their hair done, makeup applied and the first reveal of the bride in her gown. I’ll also take photos of the smaller things that make up your wedding day – flowers, rings etc.
Once everyone is dressed and ready, I will take some individual photos of everyone, particularly the bride.
I will leave from this location approximately half an hour before the ceremony starts to take photos of the groom and guests arriving at the ceremony venue.
Groom & Groomsmen at Ceremony (Deluxe & Gold Package only)
Allow 20-30 minutes.
These photos include individual shots of the groom and his groomsmen before the ceremony begins. I understand the groom is often feeling a bit apprehensive or nervous at this point so I promise to make this as quick and painless as possible! The photos are usually informal with a few posed shots as well.
Guests arriving at the ceremony (Deluxe & Gold package only)
This includes informal photos of guests as they arrive at the ceremony while we wait for the bride to arrive.
Ceremony (included in all packages)
Your ceremony may be anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours depending on your service.
During the ceremony my main aim is to take fantastic shots without YOU noticing me!
These photos include:
- Bride arriving
- Groom waiting
- Bride walking down aisle
- Exchange of vows
- First Kiss
- Signing the register
- Songs, readings etc which may be included in your service
Family/Groups after the ceremony (included in all packages)
Allow approx 40 minutes. (This includes about 15-20mins to relax with your guests immediately after the ceremony).
These photos are normally taken at the ceremony venue. If you choose, the first photo is often one of the bride and groom with all the guests at the wedding.
Then we move into the family photos which involve the Bride and Groom with their parents and siblings, grandparents, children etc. It is up to you who you want to be in the photos … we just need to allow enough time for all the groups.
Bridal Party (Deluxe, Gold and Silver Packages only)
Allow approx 2-3 hrs (or longer if lots of travel).
These photos are of the Bridal Party (Bride, Groom, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Flowers girls/Page Boys).
It is really important to allow plenty of time for these photos. It’s a great chance to relax and have fun with your bridal party, without feeling like you are rushing to get back to your guests and the reception. We can travel to any location of your choice. I’m more than happy to go anywhere which may be special to you – the lake, rose gardens, the place you first met/got engaged, etc. These photos can be as fun, informal or as posed as you like! Don’t forget to pack some food and drink and anything extra you might want in your shots.
These are not included in the packages – please see this page for the additional fee
Mock Cutting of the cake
This set of photos is taken when we return from the Bridal Party photos to the reception before the speeches and dinner begins (or immediately after family photos for the bronze package). They include photos of the cake, plus a mock cutting by the bride and groom. I am happy to discuss this option further if you are interested.
Reception (included in the Deluxe Package only)
Approx 2 hours.
These photos are taken during the reception. I understand they may be in a different order depending on your reception so I am flexible to your plans.
These photos include:
- Cutting the cake – Photos of the cake, Bride and groom cutting the cake
- Speeches – Photos of the main speakers.
- First Dance – Bride and groom dancing their first dance together.
- During this time I will also take various snapshots of the reception and your guests.
I am more than happy to discuss this further if you choose to have these reception photos taken.
